Perfect Your Craft: Mastering 101

If you're an independent artist or producer that does your own music, I'm sure you know what mastering is. For those of you that don't know, it's the process of fixing the sound quality of your songs before duplication. It's the final perfected version of your music. The sound quality of your songs is a deciding factor on whether of not your music is played on radio, in clubs, and featured on mixtapes. LaBron James' Birthday Party 12.30.09

LaBron James has a star studded birthday party this past Wednesday at BarRoom in Cleveland. The party guest list was open to the public, but at the last minute 8081 told everyone that the venue thought it would be best if they handled the guest list. I was extremely disappointed because I wanted to help the King celebrate! Luckily, DJ EV was in attendance and took some pics and video. Here's LaBron dancing and having a good time. Machine Gun Kelly! What more can I say?

Cleveland's own Machine Gun Kelly is everywhere right now! He shut down our Cleveland Classic showcase in December and he set Z107.9 on fire with his freestyle skills. Today he released is first official music video for 'Alice in Wonderland' which is also available on iTunes. Check him out!
