Kid Cudi, Chip the Ripper, and TMZ!

I am so proud of Kid Cudi for carrying the city on his back and giving Cleveland the shine we deserve. On the other hand, I'm getting tired of all the bad press he seems to keep getting. First he cussed out a Reebok rep after she asked him not to perform in Nikes at an event they booked him to perform. Next he showed his a$$ at a hotel by flipping out on his female friend in the lobby. He just punched a audience member in the face. Now TMZ has video of Cudi getting arrested by LAPD. He was quickly released which leads me to believe that they were just messing with him for DWB (driving while black). Chip tha Ripper and some others were with him and had a few words to say to the TMZ cameras.
Chip is in LA with Cudi doing promo and performances. He said that Cudi introduced him to Kanye and was excited about going with Cudi to The Tonight Show and Universal Studios. He's been tweeting about the trip since last nite. Here a a few flicks that he posted via TweetPhoto:

Ladies of the Land 1 Year Anniversary Party

Ladies of the Land is the #1 movement of female entertainers in Ohio. I've had the pleasure of meeting and hanging out with some of them. Shouts to Ms. Moone, Crazy Tee, Chevy Blue, and the rest of the ladies.
They celebrated their first anniversary with a party and performance at the Sea Level Lounge. I wasn't able to make it, but my homie, DJ Ball taped the performances. Check out the ladies!

Digital Mu$ic News: Mobile internet market will double the size of the internet market

Morgan Stanley has released a couple of bulky documents about the mobile Internet: 'The Mobile Internet Report,' a 424-page report which explores eight major themes; and 'The Mobile Internet Report Key Themes,' a 659-slide presentation that drills down on thoughts covered in the report.
Perhaps the most remarkable statement in the report is that the Mobile Internet market will be "at least 2x size of Desktop Internet," which Morgan Stanley bases on analysis comparing Internet users with mobile subscribers.
The report starts out by saying that Apple's iPhone/iTouch/iTunes ecosystem "may prove to be the fastest ramping and most disruptive technology product / service launch the world has ever seen." It goes on to state that "a handful of incumbents (like Apple, Google, Amazon.com and Skype) appear especially well positioned for mobile changes."
Growth in the Mobile Internet is being driven by 3G adoption and the increasing popularity of smartphones, of which the iPhone is the leader in terms of Web traffic. Morgan Stanley predicts that smartphones "will out-ship the global notebook + netbook market in 2010E and out-ship the global PC market (notebook + netbook + desktop) by 2012E."
For the entertainment industry, there are mobile apps popping up all over the place. Twicketer is the newest way to get your customers into all of your events. They send a simple link to your customers' smartphone that delivers an event ticket that's verified and validated right on the phone.
Websites like Myxer allow you to create and sell your very own cell phone wallpapers and ringtones.
So if you plan on having a long career, you better step your mobile marketing game up!
