Kanye West To Rap It Out With 'Family Guy' Pal Cleveland

The CEO of G.O.O.D Music, Mr. Kanye West recently was added to make an appearance on the upcoming "Family Guy" spin off "The Cleveland Show." Scheduled to air in 2010, Kanye West voices "Kenny West," an aspiring rapper on the upcoming Fox sitcom. Mike Henry, the voice of Cleveland and the executive producer of the show told People.com, "It was surprising to us that he came to the table (read) and wonderfully surprising how cool he was, how funny he was and how unassuming he was."

Of course "Kenny West" wouldn't be complete unless Kanye was allowed to add his own little spice to the character. Richard Appel, another executive producer for the show, added, "Before we came to the table... there was only one line he didn't love and he came up with another idea in a completely modest, nice way said, "Would you mind if I changed just one line? And our feeling was, how many raps have we written? One? And how many has he written? Be our guest!"

Kanye West previously posted on his blog that he was fan of "Family Guy" and that he was excited about Cleveland's spin-off. In the past, he also had the show's creator Seth MacFarlane over to his house. Taraji P. Henson and Sanaa Lathan will also be guest voices in West's scheduled episode
