Apple announced that they would be including a new "iTunes LP" feature in their digital music store. The $10,000 per albun fee locked out indies from taking part, but Apple promised to find a way to make this service available to indie labels.
The digital music giant made good on it's promise by offering all the tools needed for users to develop the LPs themselves. The digital LPs employ basic tools like HTML, CSS, and Java to bring digital videos and other extras to the iTunes album experience. Now web-savvy users can design their own iTunes LP and avoid paying the extreme production fees.
If you sell your music through iTunes (or if you want to in the future) you should check this out. You would have much more to offer your audience, and in teturn, make more money!
