- THE COOL GREYS -

- THE COOL GREYS -

Why do people lack getting a Mentor/Teacher/Coach/Rabbi to Advise them on WHAT to DO & WHAT NOT to DO??

Today its all about LOOKING GOOD - PHYSICALLY!! This is COOL to most people like The Cool Grey Jordan's... I look good, I got $$$, a few People like it & most are content with Just looking good aka Cool.

- Most are not concerned about Brand - Image - of their Musical Product from Recording, Mixing, Mastering, Marketing & this is the core of the Business of creating Music as a Business... but everyone Looking Cool in their Cool Greys want to get paid for what I guess... Looking Cool!?!?

Even promotional companies today choose not to be concerned with their Image & what their business represents, because most of these people just want to Look & Act Cool online & offline. - But hey if THEY LOOK GOOD & COOL... I guess thats ALL that MATTERS.

In 2011 Keeping it Cool in the Grey Matter of Your Brain is just Cool

Are YOU a POWER BROKER?

POWER BROKERS

Think to yourself on how you access POWER. Usually its through your Car/Phone charger or the outlet you use to plug up a Light. You don't think of how you USE POWER to power up things or use the electrical power to power up appliances, computers, tvs, etc., but YOU just do and pay the electric bill!

Well, Its a simple anology to use when we as humans use the consumption of Power, but not as simple as how we conduct & harness Power. As you know, we just can't plug ourselves into an electrical socket & receive a burst of energy; although you actually could, but in reality you couldn't take it, so you would fry to death. In which I highly recommend that you Do Not!

So now apparently we are living in the 31st. Century by Jay-Z accords, as he explains on the remix of KanYe West's new single "POWER." Think of his quote as he recites "DO YOU HAVE THE POWER TO GET OUT FROM UP UNDER YOU?" Ahhh, I say this line was defenitly overlooked to most who don't OVERstand Power aka Energy. Energy illuminates YOU and gives YOU the POWER to GLOW!!! What really matters though is the sockets you plug yourself into? It could be a book, an iPad, or a blog, but often times more it is poeple, and often times those people around you may be short-circuited with ...NO POWER.

In order to be a POWER BROKER & harness the 31st. Century of today's economic commerce takes you plugging yourself into people that are plugged into a power grid. Without the power of information, resources, tools, technology, social structure, and a grid or power brokers; this will apparently leave you disconnected without power to advance and remain in the 21st. Century. lol  The technical power of INFROMATION is doubling at an expotential rate. Technical Energy of going GREEN is where POWER BROKERS are receiving the GREEN!!!

Will you be part of the dim bulbs, or will you plug yourself in with the POWER BROKERS of today, and illuminate that dark hollow tunnel of a mind of yours? Switch the ON button to see the light inside you, and how you can make a living working with other POWER BROKERS to seal deals? As they always say, "The Power is in The Numbers!"

Harness the power of POWER BROKERS that work with NO Boundries; that creates its own Energetic mind of Creative Control. Control the POWER in you and Un-plug from the matrix and plug into a Power Greater than Yourself ...which is a TEAM of ENERGTIC PEOPLE aka POWER BROKERS.

EGO: The NEED TO BE "Socially" ACCEPTED

EGO: The NEED TO BE "Socially" ACCEPTED.

In today's Singular & Social Economical Society we now have a bunch of people seeking to make money from a Musical Craft; whether its Rapping, Singing, Producing, DJing, etc...

Its been a cosmic explosion of people WANTING Reviews, Interviews, Help, Assistance, and the ACCEPTANCE of doing something in the music business... which now is in an Over-Saturated State in 2011. People now want to be Critically Acclaimed as doing something... but their craft IN HUMAN BUILDING RELATIONSHIPS lacks Etiquette and Substance.

NOW IN TODAY'S SOCIAL CLIMATE people WANT YOU TO LISTEN TO THEIR MUSIC, ReTWEET THEIR MUSIC, HELP THEM FOR FREE. NOW SINCE YOUR FACEBOOK FRIENDS & TWITTER FOLLOWERS these people NOW expect that you listen TO THEM, PROVIDE FEEDBACK, & even HELP THEM ETC....

NOW WHEN YOU EXPLAIN TO PEOPLE THAT YOU DON'T HAVE TIME TO DO THESE THINGS BECAUSE IN ALL actuality you really don't know them... THEY GET OFFENDED and next they try to belittle you with their Emotional Response like YOU CAN'T SHOW NO LOVE etc...

NOW WHEN YOU SAY NO and or PAY ME 4 MY TIME - they befriend & or unfollow you. FACT: it doesn't bother a Business Man/Woman when you do that, it just shows that YOU the person BEHIND YOUR CRAFT of making music lack BUSINESS SENSE & ETIQUETTE

- #HINT THIS show of BEING MAD & DISGRUNTLED because NO ONE WILL PAY YOU ATTENTION and or LISTEN TO YOUR MUSIC w/o compensation is NOT & WILL NEVER get YOU anywhere in the Music & Business. FACT that one person that DID NOT STROKE YOUR EGO could have helped you advance a couple steps further but............... NOPE YOU GOT EMOTIONAL & hit the De-FRIEND & Unfollow Button.

ONE WORD: #INTERESTING

Who is The Un-Employee aka America's #1 Patron?

Darren Anthony is prepared to make his Pro and Brave Music debut with the release of "Same Sh!T, Different Day". Forever the 'Un-Employee' as he titles himself; his music is renowned by just almost every ear that hears his craft, Darren has always been relentless to work once provided with an opportunity. With the release of "The Restaurant" cooked up by DJ Mick Boogie along with the spices of Darren's charisma he serves an a la carte dish of "content music." After the main coarse, he whips up that tasty dessert prepared especially for the ladies, entitled 'Do This Again' which is the icing on the cake of a soft mellow moment where he polity asks a beautiful lady that he just met at the diner, "Can We Do This Again?"

Thank You for Eating at Pro & Brave.

Stop Back Again & Have a Nice Day!

Stalley "Babblin" Music Video

Born and bred in Massillon, a small town in the working class state of Ohio, a young Kyle Myricks learned the value of blue collar work ethic at a young age. Kyle earned his nickname, the Stallion, because of the grit and determination that characterized his youthful athleticism. This same grit typifies his hometown of Massillon, a small city known for its steel mills and classic American feel. Over the years, Stallion would be shortened to Stalley, and Stalley would physically leave Massillon to pursue music in Brooklyn, New York, but Massillon is never far behind Stalley. Stalley embodies Massillon by emphasizing hard work, classic style and vivid depictions of his life’s journey in his colorful, timeless music.

Is The MC Dead

I remember when Hip-Hop came out as a teenager I couldn't wait to get that new "CASSETTE TAPE," that I heard about through a Friend, the Source Magazine or when I went to the 'local' record store to buy that new record I just heard on the radio station. At this time the "Tape" brought in a new pivotal era giving fans to privately transport their favorite artist after purchasing it from the store, club, or friend; and then popping in the tape to your car, home tape recorder, or your own personal Cassette Player. At the time this is when I was a teenager walking to high school listening to my N.W.A. & WuTang tapes. (Remember the purple tape/Raekwon) This is what I would coin as the first use of “Private Transportation,” to hear music which at my time I only could afford a SONY WALKMAN.

Ahh ....yes the tape that breed the 1st. MIXTAPE, the musical transformation from VINYL to a TAPE, definitely not what you may call a mixtape today in a form of a CD. This little piece of plastic with wound ribbon’s that fit in the palm of your hand of course increased productivity for the record label, and gave people the first time to be an MC. I remember when Hip-Hop came out as a teenager I couldn't wait to get that new "CASSETTE TAPE," that I heard about through a Friend, the Source Magazine or when I went to the 'local' record store to buy that new record I just heard on the radio station. At this time the "Tape" brought in a new pivotal era giving fans to “Privately Transport” their favorite artist after purchasing in from the store, club, or friend; and popping in the tape to your car, home tape recorder, or your own personal Cassette Player. At this very time I was a teenager walking to high school listening to my N.W.A. & WuTang tapes. (Remember the purple tape/Raekwon) This is what I would coin as the first use of “Private Transportation” to hear music which at my only time I could afford was the SONY WALKMAN.

The cassette tape of course increased productivity for the record label and gave people the first time to be COST EFFECTIVE by recording their favorite radio mixshow, scratch on vinyl & record it to the tape, or ask a friend to "DUB" (today we now call it BURN) you a copy. As the cassette tape exploded, so did Hip-Hop which gave fans an opportunity to now become a MC (Master of Ceremony) and along w/ a DJ you developed a demo tape, dubbed some copies, and sold it at the party. This new technology at the time opened up the doors for the independent record labels as well; the "Cassette Tape" was now determined as a HOT commodity that was demanded by the people, which now made the MC and DJ a business.

As production costs decreased it breed more MC's (Master of Ceremonies) that could afford to invest in their crafts, and at the time the Major Record Labels was investing Million's of Dollars into Marketing & Video Budgets. Back then you had to LOOK THE BEST to get a fan inspired by you, and back then if you was in the Source Magazine you damn near made it already, but back then a Million in Sales was a lot easier to accomplish because the record companies still had control of the "Manufacturing" to sell it to the masses which was in the form of a Tape, which then led to the CD. Even as we see today the CD is a very cheap commodity but when the Tape transformed to a CD, an artist could still at the time make a pretty good financial success.

That artist that looked up to that Super Star, now turned into a MC by following their favorite artist that inspired them to now develop a Demo Tape with a DJ and shop themselves to get a deal. Cost of production back then was still at an all time high, but manufacturing was at a much lower cost to duplicate & distribute the recording sound in the form of a small cassette tape. Since the cassette tape offered so many advantages ‘personally’ it increased fans to become an artist, singer, rapper, producer, DJ, etc. and this influx of artists grew as the Personal Creation of Music became cheaper! Has this extremely low cost of creating music led to an almost extinction of the meaning, “Master of Ceremony” in 2011 due to the technical advances, personal creation, and cheap manufacturing? Is Hip-Hop losing that true MC that could rock a crowd, freestyle, and spit some words that make you say ….OH SH!T?

- even today the words of Cassette Tape, Dub, CD, and Burn, has almost died due to the File Sharing, Download, iPod, & Mobile Streaming of Today's Own Personal Transportation of Music. Will the Master of Ceremony’s arise again and be etched in the rich sound of the Vinyl LP.

Will the MC come full circle?

Whats FAKE Today? << Ask Yourself

The LAND of FAKE. I really feel a person needs to stand up & bring some LIGHT to a subject, which is People.

ATTENTION: THIS MESSAGE IS TO break down EGOS, so if what I say in these next few lines AFFECTS you... so be it. Over the past years of analyzing this city, since 2005 I have seen quite alot change. I've lived here for 34yrs. of my life, so I can be a critic, and if You do not like it... SO DAMN WHAT!!!

TODAY the people in my city, Cleveland artists, producers, tv shows, record labels, modeling companies, promotion companies, etc.... MAJORITY are FAKE & BUILT on nothing but some FOLLOWING wanna be ass PEOPLE!!! Yes, FAKE ass people who want to BE & DO SOMETHING that THEY ARE NOT GREAT AT!!! Its like people in the city have a thing for the "monkey see, monkey do" syndrome of "I CAN DO THAT" INSERT >>> RAPPERS now PROMOTERS now DJs, etc. the list goes on and on. My point is that these so called "BUSINESS PEOPLE" that call themselves a CEO of _____________________> (Fill In The Blank) in reality is NOT DOING SHIT, and have NO EXECUTIVE ORDER. I mean they want you to "think" that they are doing something but in reality they really are not doing shit. A bunch of people with a so called "GOOD IDEA" decides to develop a business which reaps NO REVENUE!!!  <<INTERESTING>> Artists throwing shows for a bunch of artists so they can look good and be crowned as "DOING SOMETHING?"

FACT: The majority from this city is NOT DOING SHIT... they DO NOT put up THERE OWN MONEY; they have NO REAL WEBSITE; THEY HAVE NO REVENUE coming in, and NO ONE KNOWS THEM.... and the ones that do have a "little" something going on "THINK" THEY are making so much money but don't & can't support shit from someone else. Why, because there inner ego says I FCUKIN MADE IT! I've traveled around my city in rain, sleet, and snow, but these same people YOU NEVER SEE, NEVER HEAR OF, No one speaks or talks about you, your craft, your music, business, etc. So what the fcuk are YOU selling to the PEOPLE... a bunch of FAKE AS BULLSHIT???

Look at these same people wearing FAKE Polo, Timberlands, Gucci, Prada, Jordans, G-Shock Watches, Jewelry, Purses, Sunglasses, etc. that are TRYING TO BE SOMETHING MORE THAN THEMSELVES, so they TRY to do something THEY DO NOT KNOW HOW TO DO, nor do they TRY TO LEARN HOW TO DO IT CORRECTLY and WORK TOGETHER as A TEAM. To many Chiefs & not enough Indians... I thought I came from a TRIBE??? Well, guess again fans!

So now in 2011 we have a bunch of people on this D.I.Y. (Do It Yourself) shit that look to be respected for doing unprofessional, no class, no style, no vision type of nonsense. Now today people/artists take a SHORT CUT (the cheap route) by designing their own CD Covers, Video/Edit their Own Videos, record themselves in a Basement Studio, etc. Then these same people that 'ONLY' invested in themselves & spent No Money with a "PROFESSIONAL" service now want YOU to spend MONEY with their "Experimenting D.I.Y." ass that can't even cut a straight line. But now they want to be respected for their UN-PROFESSIONAL Talent. FAKE people with no connects, no status, no ideas, & defenitly no sort of business that can reap a monetary value if you ask me.

WILL IT EVER CHANGE? -
Really???
You be the Judge!
